This controlled process brings the steel to its ideal balance of hardness and toughness, maximizing edge retention without sacrificing durability. By carefully dialing in temperature and timing at every stage, each blade receives a consistent, high-performance heat treat that fully develops the steel’s best traits.

I’m a custom knife and tool maker based in the U.S., focused on building pieces that are meant to be used and appreciated over time. I approach each knife as both a tool and an object of craft — something that has to perform first, but also carry a sense of intention in how it’s made.
